Children are a
very important part of the Holy Cross Family. We have many special and unique
classes set aside for your children to learn about Jesus and how much He loves
them.
"He took the children in His arms, put his
His hands on them and blessed them." (Mark
10:16)

Nurturing the
relationship between Jesus Christ and each child by teaching and sharing, through
word and example, the
Gospel message of God's love for them in Jesus Christ; and encouraging
each child to grow
into being servants to their family, friends, and community.

The weekly curriculum "Our Life In Christ" is designed to help
children grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible.
Each lesson includes music, Bible study, and learning activities under
the leadership of dedicated, caring staff members.

Kids for Christ Club (KFCC) is a
Lutheran Christian Ministry presenting God's love and Christian values through
song, studying God's word, life application and a wide variety of activities,
crafts, special off-site field trips, and hands-on mission projects that
challenge God's kids to serve. We hope you will join us as we gather with
friends, hear God's word, celebrate our faith and serve the Lord by serving
others!
KFCC is divided into three
groups:
- Joy Jumpers: For
pre-elementary children, ages 3 through Kindergarten.
- Praise Pack: For
lower elementary children, ages 1st grade through 3rd
grade.
- Grace Gang: For
upper elementary children, ages 4th and 5th
grade.
KFCC meets on Wednesday
evenings, from 6:00 PM through 7:00 PM. Parents have the opportunity to study
God's word in one of our evening classes. Join us for our Together Meal at
4:45-6:00 PM, our weekly dinner and fellowship time.

During our Vacation Bible School, each child is immersed into
a weeklong world of the Bible and experiences its contents. Our
curriculum is very unique as a special writing team here writes
it at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Children will have the opportunity
to grow and learn about our Savior Jesus Christ, through song, drama,
learning activities, snacks and crafts. Come join the fun, you will
never want the week to end!

This ministry serves God and our precious little children through
puppeteers sharing Bible stories, song Bible memory and life
application with the puppets. Come join us and be part of this amazing
and fun ministry.

Nursery, 3 years and under |

The Holy Cross Nursery staff wishes to help you participate more fully
in our worship, Sunday School and mid-week programs by providing a
safe environment and "tender loving care" for your little ones. Be
assured the your child's needs will be met in the nursery.

The Holy Cross Cradle Roll is for children from birth to age 3. If you
have a birth in your family, or are a new member with a young child,
your family will receive periodic information regarding special
milestones in their development.

Stepping Stones is a ministry of Holy Cross that intentionally
recognizes the important stages of faith in the life of a believer.
This ministry reminds parent and child of the promises made at
Holy Baptism by bringing parent and child back to the altar at
a number of key moments along the journey of a child's faith life. The
Stepping Stones are: Baptism, Entry into Sunday School, Gifts of the First Bible, Gift of the First Catechism, First Communion,
Confirmation of the Faith, Entry into Senior High, Graduation of
Senior High and Entry into Adult Bible Study.
