Purpose: To glorify God through music by leading the congregation in worship – providing leadership in hymns, songs, liturgy and anthems. Criteria for Service: Commit this ministry to the Lord through prayer. Be in regular attendance at rehearsals (Thursdays – 7:30-9:00 p.m.). Desire to sing music written in 4-part harmony (or more) with a group of deeply committed men and women. Attend and lead congregation in worship as scheduled. Contact Director or Celebration Choir Council member when unable to attend rehearsal or Sunday worship, in advance, if possible. Prepare for special services (e.g. – Advent Cantata, Christmas, Easter, Ascension Eve) with additional rehearsals. Service Times: See Schedule Below Time Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per week  -  This includes Thursday rehearsals and worship leading – primarily on Sundays at the 8:00 a.m. service but on occasion the 9:30 a.m. worship and Wednesday evening, Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, Lenten, Holy Week, and Ascension Eve worship times. Training/Orientation Requirements: No specific training or orientation requirements exist.
