• F.U.N. Team
    The Fellowship Unlimited Network (F.U.N. Team) offers a variety of fellowship activities for members of the congregation and their friends. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend any of the events.

    Our ongoing fellowship activities include: Scrapbooking, Fireside Room; Adult Game Night; Hiking Club; Bowling. We also offer adult sports teams through Colorado Springs Park and Recreation such as volleyball, softball, dodgeball, basketball and indoor soccer (dependant upon member participation).     In addition to the ongoing fellowship events, watch the newsletter and Sunday bulletin for other activities such as Christmas Caroling Hayride, All-church Potluck, picnic and Bunko nights.

  • H.O.M.E. Groups
    Homes Open for Ministry and Encouragement are small groups that meet in homes, minister to one another and to encourage one another. You can host a group in your home or simply be part of a group.

  • Stephen Ministry
    Equipping, Training, and Sending laity to love and care for the lonely, grieving, strangers, new parents, ill, or those experiencing stress. For more information contact the church office at (719) 596-0661.

  • Sunday Morning Frontline Ministers
    Helping people feel welcome on a Sunday morning allows people to be more open to what God has to say to them in Worship. Frontline Ministers include ushers, greeters, parking lot attendants, and Ministry Center attendants. For more information contact Terry Reed at (719) 596-0661 ext. 205.

  • Altar Guild
    These are behind the scenes ladies who prepare the Altar for Sunday morning worship and assist with clean-up after worship. For more information contact the church office at (719) 596-0661.

  • Jr. High Confirmation Instruction
    Students in grades 6 - 8 receive instruction in Scriptures and the basic doctrines of the Lutheran Church. This instruction takes place as part of our Wednesday Together Program. For more information, contact the church office at (719) 596-0661.

  • Young at Heart
    For all 55 and over. Our purpose is to promote Christian fellowship and cultivate friendships among members of area churches and to present programs that are both educational and entertaining. We meet on the first Monday of each month at 11:30 A.M. in Hiller Hall at Holy Cross for a potluck or catered lunch or at a local restaurant.   • Good Neighbor Ministry
    As believers gathered around the cross, we are a caring community. As a caring community we can provide various assistance to help each other through times of crisis. Each of our zip codes has a coordinator to coordinate this care. For more information contact the church office at (719) 596-0661.

  • Endowment Fund
    There are many opportunities to fulfill the mission of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, some opportunities call for monies not available from regular church giving. This fund allows the church to advance the mission, outreach and ministry of the congregation. The Endowment Fund will continue to grow and provide a permanent source of income to support the church's Christian outreach with a variety of special ministry opportunities by using only a portion of the annual dividend earnings.   • Memorial Garden and Columbarium
    A place to set aside for the inurnment of the cremated remains of those who have died in Christ and wish to have their ashes inurned next to the sanctuary where the great spiritual events of Christian life - baptism, confirmation, communion, marriage, and the daily worship of God - are celebrated.
