School

At Holy Cross Lutheran School we recognize the value of each unique child and offer a wide variety of opportunities for growth.  We provide a positive, creative Christian atmosphere in which a child can develop and learn.

We believe that young children learn more readily when given numerous opportunities to experience the wonders of God’s world first hand, so we offer developmental play opportunities and hands-on learning experiences.  It is our hope that by providing a well-rounded program and developing the whole child, we provide a foundation for enjoyment and continued success in school.

·         Preschool children begin their journey in education and learn the basics of academic and social success.  (Must be 2 ½ and potty trained upon admission)

·         Pre-Kindergarten children, now good classroom citizens, step up to more challenging skills.

·         Kindergarten children use the solid foundation of social, emotional, and academic skills gained in our early childhood classes to move forward to read, write and further explore their world.

·         Elementary children continue to be challenged and encouraged to develop as creative individuals through balanced curriculum.   (First through Fifth Grades)

All classes are offered half day (8:30-12:00) or full day (8:30-3:30) except Elementary classes which attend full day.  Before School Care (8:00-8:30) and After School Care (3:30-5:00) are also available.  All classes offer a maximum ratio of nine students to one teacher.

We welcome families of all faith backgrounds to Holy Cross.
